Do you spend more time thinking about your opinion or God’s?  Are you more concerned about what others think about or about what God has shared about through His people and His Word?  When’s the last time you took your heart matters to God in prayer and just asked, “God, what do you think about this?” and then waited for His response while you search Scriptures for glimpses of His heart on the matter?

I’m trying to care more and more about God’s opinions, and I believe Zephaniah the prophet reminds us that God cares intensely about our attitudes about Him.  Would you spend some time talking with God today, asking His opinions about things?  Would you stop mapping out your life like you know what’s best and start listening to the One who really does?
