I think my prayer is like a track meet. I run a lot, but sometimes i rush through the race not paying attention to what i am actually doing and just trying to get it over with (not that running a race you shouldn’t be face but it is more like a long distance race where i need to pace myself).
One suggestion for the prayer time:
One thing that i do is pray before i drive. After I start my car I pray for safe travel and the ability to pay attention to the road and others to drive safetly as well. Then when i get to my destination and I pray and thank God for the dafe travel. It is simple, but it really gets me thinking about God more.
