Are you seeking God’s will in a matter of your life? Is there a big decision facing you or a trial you are working through? Maybe a relationship is in trouble and you really want to know God’s heart on the matter? It’s possible you’ve sought counsel from others and even spent time praying, but you are still at a loss. Let me ask: Have you spent time in the Word? Have you opened up the Book and started reading what God has for you? You must do this with a total dependence on His Spirit and as your mind is transformed by the understanding and application of Scripture, you might start to see God’s plan coming into focus.
If you are seeking His will today, take some time to read the great message He has already given us contained in the Bible. Colossians is a great book to jump into, or maybe John or James. Before you read, ask God for help in understanding and applying His truth and then let the Spirit help you begin the transforming process. Transformation is the gateway to God’s will.

God’s word guides us-it gives us all the tools we need-yet sometimes, even in trials, we ask God for help for help and then wonder why He doesn’t answer our prayers-when we are NOT even reading His word. We must be open to God’s leading & immerse ourselves in the word & in prayer. God is always with us, we just have a tendancy to forget that.
Father God, thank you for being with me always. I love you. Amen.
