Invest in a younger generation today and sit down and ask God how He might use you to have a long-term impact on the next generation(s). How might He use you to teach them, to teach others the things of God that they might “put their faith in Him”? Here are a few ideas to get the ball rolling….

1. Teach Sunday School at your church
2. Ask the youth pastor if you can help with the next middle school camp out (and watch him pass out!)
3. Mentor a fatherless child from your kids’ school
4. Help a young teen mom who needs guidance and support
5. Run a 5-day club at your house for the neighborhood kids
6. Help your own children memorize God’s Word and apply it to every day living
7. Become foster care certified and invest in hurting and homeless children
8. Teach a Sunday School with your teen child helping you; let them do the bulk of the work
9. Plan dates with each of your kids, use that time to encourage them in their walk with God
10. Pray for your children. Pray for their friends. Pray for the kids in your neighborhood that all of them would know God and grow in their closeness to Him. Then be ready to be used by God to be the answer that you are praying for.
