As you finish up today, remember the importance of using what God has given you. End by reading the parable of the talents, a story Jesus told to illustrate how important it is to serve with what God has given us, where He has placed us. Then pray and ask God to help you stay faithful in your current service, to find a new place of service, or to start serving with your gifts today! (Trust me, your pastor would love a call that went something like this….”Hey Pastor, this is Joe. I’m just calling to ask if there is anywhere in the church I can serve. I feel like God is asking me to serve…”)
