Today is a fill in the blank day.

Let’s start out with this: I am so thankful for ____________________

Psalm 100:4-5

Enter his gates with thanksgiving 
   and his courts with praise; 
   give thanks to him and praise his name. 
⁵ For the LORD is good and his love endures forever; 
 his faithfulness continues through all generations.

It’s amazing how many commands in Scripture boil down to one essential truth:  Your thought life will determine your obedience.  If my thoughts are God’s thoughts, if my mind is in the heavenly realms where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father, then it should follow that my life will be in line with Christ.

And here’s the kicker about thoughts:  Each one is a choice.

 Today is the only day we have. We don’t have yesterday so we can’t glory in that and we don’t have tomorrow. Take time today to feed your soul. Today is simple. Just a few verses to ponder. Just a few ideas to wrap our minds around.

Today I urge you to take time to answer the upcoming questions. Take time to write down your answers. Wrestle with the verses. Take time to set goals to make real changes in your life. It would be impossible to reveal the value of the gift He has given us-this gift is priceless. So in light of this Jesus comes to us right now and says, "Do not worry." He will take care of us. He will provide for us. He will meet all of your needs.

Words inspire us. They motivate us. They shape our culture. Today I want us to think about a very specific word, a wonderful word. It’s such a fun word. It’s used in a variety of ways. The word is- whatever. Here are a few "whatevers" from God’s Word.
