I am excited about the New Year. I am excited to see the adventures, the struggles, the victories, and the life that lies ahead. The journey of 2010 is in God’s hands. My prayer is that this year is the year that I experience Him more, live for Him more, touch more lives, love Him more, love others more, follow Him into the unknown, jump into the river of life, run the race marked out for me better than ever before, and that my life becomes more and more a reflection of His life in me. We were made by Him and for Him. May our lives reflect that everyday.

We are an image driven culture. There are thousands upon thousands of images that we are drowning in everyday. I believe this is why God continues to reveal Himself in tangible and visual ways. 

Take time right now to praise and thank God for everything

He is doing in your life right now. 

God’s is worthy of our constant praise.

Today I urge you to take time to answer the upcoming questions. Take time to write down your answers. Wrestle with the verses. Take time to set goals to make real changes in your life. Matthew 6:25

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

Jesus commands us not to worry. In the same way that we are commanded not to kill, or steal or covet, we are commanded not to worry. Shouldn’t we as followers of Christ look radically different from the world? The economy falls apart- we don’t worry. Are children get sick- we don’t worry. How can we do this?
