God teach us to be still. Teach us to listen to Your voice. Teach us to wait upon You. We love You.

Wow, I should read this TD every day before I start my day. Thanks for the powerful reminder of our need to ‘take a chill pill’ each day and just BE with God. It’s so easy to think that DOing is what matters, but DOing only matters when we’re BEing who God wants us to BE. Today I was DOing a lot. It wasn’t until I read this devotional that I realized how much I needed to BE with HIM, too. Thanks Danny for this powerful reminder and vivid lay out that made me do one thing in the past 15 minutes — Enjoy God. I think I’ll stay put for a while and just keep drinking HIM in. Blessings brother.

Thank you for posting this Danny. After the week I’ve had so far it is had to not keep “doing”. I need to keep in mind that I am not in control and that I can’t fix everything. Work has been a pain lately and I feel very much an alien here. I know I have a role to fulfill and I plan on doing it to His glory. But I need to learn to let go as well.
Lord, please be with me and help me to remember to take times to “be still” and give up trying to control things.
I love you Lord Jesus. AMEN!
