Even more important, do you stay faithful to your Creator God when you endure tough times? When hardship comes your way, do you stay strong in the One who has called you? Take some time to think about your habits when tough times hit. Answer the following questions as you think about Paul’s words: “Endure hardship like a good soldier.”

1. When tough times come, do you turn toward God or away from Him?

2. Think about your last hardship: Did you run to Christ’s body, the church, or did you run from it?

3. Is there someone you know who is suffering right now? How could you help them endure like a good soldier?

4. Has someone helped you stay the course? Take a moment to send them a special word of thanks for staying by you!

5. What one habit do you need God’s help to break so that the next time you experience hardship, you can stay the course?
