I’m afraid that all-too-often my pursuit of God has much more to do with how conveniently He will fit into my calendar rather than a passionate heart felt pursuit of Him no matter what the calendar says. Too often I rush through my daily Bible reading, I pray somewhat flippantly, mindlessly (like a guest speaker at chapel when I was in college who asked God to “bless this food to our bodies” during the 9am chapel hour), and selfishly (making prayer all about me and my requests, while taking no time to get God’s input!). Jesus allowed divine interruptions to redirect His day but He refused to let them take away His top priority: Spending solitary time each day with God the Father.
Are you relentlessly pursuing God today? Are you committed to meeting with Him at all costs, connecting with Him no matter how busy the day gets, and making sure you check in before you end the day? Jesus was and He is paving the path you and I are to follow.
God’s relentlessly pursuing you. Are you pursuing Him? Spend some time in prayer right now. |

I am asking for prayer for a urgent situation. My boss had a stroke a week ago saturday because of this situation it has been choas at work. Also my hours and wage has been cut. I am worried about his situation and survival as well as mine and the other girls in the office. We all need lots of prayer to get through this trying time.
