Reflection

My wife and I just did a "Spring cleaning". We got rid of stuff that had been sitting in the rafters for years. Junk that once was so dear to us. One of those dusty old items was a giant mirror from our bathroom. The mirror was about four by five feet. I remember my pastor teaching me how the larger the mirror the larger the reflection. So I took the mirror into my backyard. I held up the mirror so that I could get a reflection of the sun and then I pointed it through our kitchen mirror. It’s hard to imagine how much this lit up my house but it illuminated everything. When my wife came out of the garage she was met with a warm, blinding surprise. She said she could feel the heat the instant she walked in. I gave her a sunny day right in the privacy of her living room.

Reflection is the essence of our life with God. We continually reflect His greatness—His glory—His story—His goodness—His love.
