I leave you with this final thought. What else do you have to live for that is better than living for God? Is there anything? You can try to come up with something but everything that seems better falls apart at some point. Live fully for your God. Love Him and His people with everything in you. Give yourself fully to His purposes. As you do this God will reward you in this life and the next. Whatever fears, whatever troubles and whatever excuses you have–STOP–and lay those at Jesus’ feet. Then GO after the dreams, the passions and the desires of your heart. God has made you for greatness. He has made you for Him. If you give your all, your everything to Him–YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! He will never let you down. His plan, His purpose, His life for you is bigger and greater than you could ever imagine. Stay close to Him, so that you know where to go. And then, by His grace and in His name GO!

PRAYERS OR COMMENTS:

  1. comment-top

    I’ve gone to the mountains.
    I’ve fasted and prayed.
I’ve picked up a good book from the bookstore. My favorite read from last year was Crazy Love by Francis Chan.
I’ve listened to sermons online of old youth pastors, teachers and friends in ministry.
    I’ve memorized Scripture.
I’ve gone for a long run.
I’ve got up early to carve out time to be with God.
I’ve bought a new journal and just write my heart out to God.
I’ve turned on Pandora.com and just sung praises to God.
    Okay that’s enough for now.

I’ve made a commitment to memorize one verse per week in 2010.

I have committed to waking up an hour early every day to do my bible study

I am also trying to get rid of some of my nasty habits so that I can get rid of my old self and become more of the good and faithful servant God intended me to be.

This is not going to be easy but like it mentions our troubles are nothing compared to the gift from God in the end
