So pull out your BIG dream(s). Who does God want you to involve in His plan to fulfill His will, through the dreams He has placed in your heart? God put a burning desire in Nehemiah to build a wall and Nehemiah knew he couldn’t do it alone. Neither can you. Neither can I. We need each other.
Maybe you already know who that person is. Maybe you don’t. Spend some time thinking about the people God has put in your life and those who might be building walls, too. Not only do we need people to fulfill what God has put before us, but others need us to be a part of their walls, too. My favorite wall builder that Nehemiah recruited was named “Baruch”. The Bible doesn’t say much about him except that he, “zealously repaired another section” (verse 20). I want to help others fulfill their wall building dreams and I hope I might do that like Baruch — zealous for God’s glory, even if it’s under the umbrella of some one else!

Praise God that he has placed his workers in our lives to bless us and encourage us! Father, take my desire to be an island far from me and allow those who you place in my life to powerful speak your truth. May I always be surrendered to taking counsel from Godly men and women.

Lord, thank you so much for the ministry of Tenth Dot and for the small team of Joe, Danny, and Adam. Without these Godly men, this dream you gave to Danny would not have come to fruition and the walls would be crumbling. Thank you so much for bringing other builders in, to build this wall. Thank you for showing us the importance of community. I pray for all the “islands” out there, trying to do ministry alone- help them to surround themselves with other God-fearing men and women, who are willing to be builders/ team mates.

Lord, you are working in a mighty way in my life. You have provided resources I wouldn’t know to ask for, you have surrounded me with “wall builders” I didn’t know to rally, you have gifted me with talents I thought were long past usable and were not going to be part of Your plan for me. Lord, you have begun an amazing and unparalleled dream in me that has become more than I could ask. Thank you Lord for leading me down the path I am headed. Thank You for loving me so much as to put the people and resources in place to make this all the more substantial!
Thank you Lord for everything.
In Jesus name I pray, AMEN!

Father I am so convicted by this today! Just this morning I pushed away my wall builder, best friend, and spouse because I wanted to try to be independant and free to build my wall my way. Thank you for speaking such truth to me today and for gently correcting me through this amazing tool Tenth Dot! God I love You and I want to serve You and I need to surrender my pride, my independece, and my selfishness! You created us for relationship, first with You and then with others. I tend to put up harmful walls with barbed wire and sniper towers, to protect myself from getting hurt by others. When I do this, I not only keep out the bad but I keep out the good as well. Give me the strength and courage to tear down these unhealthy walls and the wisedom to build healthy and productive walls with others. Please forgive me. Show me the people I can build Your kingdom with!
Amen

Lord, thank you SO MUCH for the wonderful, encouraging, godly friends You have given me. Thank You for those who hold me accountable and come alongside me in my desire to do Your work.
Please show me if this is a message You would have me share with those at school in chapel.
Please open my eyes to the fellow-wall-builders around me, especially at school. I try to “go it alone” so much there, and that can result in little, if any fruit. Show me how to join You and Your people in Your work.
Thank You for Your marvelous plan.
