Will you turn your pain upside down today and see it how God does?  Will you be willing to trust Him even if you can’t see the usefulness or the outcome now?  Maybe you feel like you’re still in slavery, or maybe you’ve moved from slavery down into the dungeons, or maybe from within the dungeons you’ve been forgotten by the ones you thought would help you get out.  Will you still trust God today?

I don’t know the depth of the hurt you’ve gone through, but I know the greatness of the God you can call on.  And I know there is nothing beyond His scope of knowledge or power and He wants to help you set aside the numbness of your pain so that you can receive the hope of His comfort so that you can give to others as He has given to you.  Will you take on the Joseph mindset today?

Father, let me see with your eyes the work being done in my life and fully prepare to use my gifts for your work.

Lord, you make all things new. Without You I have nothing. Lord, help me to commit all my fears, hopes, anger, frustration, pain, and love to You. You saved me from myself, You kept the blade out of my hand. You found me in the depths of my darkest despair and told me I would have new eyes. You have shaped me into who I have become; the best part is, You’re not done! Lord, You have given me so much to hope for. You have blessed me with some many things. I recognize how undeserved I am, yet You love me more than I can fathom and You gift me my salvation. Lord, please use me however Your will dictates. There is nothing You can’t do; use my pain, use my hope, use my life.

I am Yours. You are my Abba.

I love You and look forward to the man You are making me.

In Jesus precious name I pray these things. AMEN!

Powerful stuff. The difference between how I see myself and those pains is vastly different than the way God sees me. To think that He wants to use me – even and especially the “ugliest” parts – is incredible. Thank You God for seeing the deepest parts of me, for wanting to use me and for knowing the final outcome of Your plan. I am truly blessed!

Lord, I confess that most of my pain is so self-centered. Help me to see myself and others with Your eyes. Show me how You can use this to bless others and bring glory to You.

God, help me to trust you with my pain. I’ve been trying to solve things my own way, but i just need to trust You.
