Jesus makes it possible to change our mindset about the pain of our past.  We can wallow in our misery as victims or we can rise above as champions, based on what we choose to do with our pain.  According to John 10, Jesus came to give us an amazing life, despite the pain we will suffer.  This kind of life requires a faith in God to use our pain for our ultimate good and His ultimate glory, so that we can be used by Him today right where we are.  Are you a victim or a champion?  End today by watching the incredible story of Scott Rigsby, a man who truly understands and has applied the Joseph Mindset to his life.

    God,
Thank you that I get to count everything in my life loss and trade it for your life! Thank you that I was baptized into your death and now live Your resurrected life! Praise you for turning my rags into riches!

Lord, help me do the unthinkable things you have placed before me. May others see YOU and may I do all for YOUR praise and glory!

As I sit here in physical pain from having dental surgery-my right side of my mouth throbbing, I am thinking about pain-all sorts of pain. Recent pain, past hurts, current pain. And many of the pains on my list have been given to God. Yet there are still some that remain. I need to let these go and quit expecting God to remove them but expect him to do so much more through them. I love you Jesus.

Lord, you made man from the clay of the earth. You created the greatest mountains and the seas that surround Your earth. Lord, why do I struggle with trusting You with small things? You are the great I AM, You are the Alpha and Omega… You are my Redeemer.

Lord, please help me to recognize Your want and ability to heal me and use my pain for Your glory and my character. Please help me to honor You with my life; especially in giving You my love, body, mind, and soul.

Lord please help me to be the man You want me to be. Nothing can come in the way of Your love for me, and I will do all I can to not try and get in the way.

    In Jesus name, AMEN!

II Corinthians 1:3-4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.”

THIRTEEN YEARS as a slave and a prisoner? That blows my mind. My trust in the Lord is so small. And why is that? Maybe it’s that I need to truly realize my Lord’s GREATNESS!

Lord, I believe that You are big enough to take my pain and use it for Your glory. I believe that You have an eternal plan that is so much better than I could ever imagine. Please help me to trust You with my small, insignificant life, so that You may change it and use it in unthinkable ways. It’s all for You.
