This week we are encouraging you to read through the book of Philippians. Today we move on to chapter 2. The goal is to spend time with God, not just read His Word like you are reading the US Tax Code. Ponder it. Listen to it. Meditate on it. Ask God to answer questions you are wrestling through. Apply it to your life. Be encouraged by it. Let it move you–transform your thinking. God’s Word is so rich and powerful, but we have to allow it to soak into our veins so that we live, breathe and move in His Word.

Lord help me to follow your example of being a servant. Forgive me for when I think I am more important than others. Please Holy Spirit renew my mind so I may be able to keep in step with You and follow Your will!

Good morning my LOVE, my LORD, my ALL-
Jesus I want to be like You. Teach me Your ways LORD. You left everything and made Yourself nothing to reveal Your love and the Father’s heart. Lord how could You come to serve. You are the KING. You are the Creator. You are the Eternal One. You are Immanuel. You are the Alpha and the Omega. You are the Prince of Peace. Yet, You left Your throne to save the world. Thank You Lord. Thank you for saving me. I hate to think of what I would be without You. Thank You for working in me to “will and act according to Your purpose”. Wow! LORD please work in-transform every thought, every action, and everything I say to be like YOURS. When people see me may they see You pouring through my veins. You are my life. I love YOU forever!

Wow God! I am struck by this “Do everything without complaining or arguing.” Father I need Your help to do EVERYTHING without complaining or arguing. Please give me Your strength to do that today.

Lord, help me to look to the interests of others. Help me to consider others better than myself. As Christmas is approaching, help me to see the needs of others and show me how to meet those needs. Thank you Jesus!
