Over 2,000 years ago Jesus offered His children an amazing gift:  In the chaos and madness of life and its schedule, He gives peace.  Peace that can’t be taken away.  Peace that alleviates our fear.  Peace that comes in the midst of our trials and doesn’t make sense to the world around us.  Peace that guards our hearts.  Peace that guards our minds and thoughts.  Peace.

Find God’s peace today.  Philippians 4:6 reminds us that finding it requires us to release our fears and anxieties to Him and then to lift our request to God — with thanksgiving.  God doesn’t promise to change our circumstances or to take away the problems we’re facing; He just promises peace in the midst of the storm.  May God’s peace be yours in any storm you find yourself in.  Leave a prayer of peace for others to read today.
