Yesterday I went to the pumpkin patch with my kids. It was a fun afternoon of hayrides, feeding the goats and a crazy corn maze. During our tour of the farm I learned something fascinating. At least, I found it interesting. Our guide explained that they had 15 different varieties of pumpkins. The pumpkins were all different sizes and shapes. Some were small and would fit in the palm of your hand. Others were obscenely huge and it would take two people to lift it. Here is the part that I found fascinating . . .
