It’s fascinating to me that as the author of Hebrews points out that Jesus is returning soon, he talks about our need to encourage each other. Of all the things he could have picked for us to do — he picked encouragement. Not prayer. Not Bible study. Not helping little old ladies across the street. Encouragement. Today your job is to encourage 3 people. Below is a list of 7 things you could do to encourage some one else, help us grow our list by writing more encouragement ideas below!
Jesus is coming back soon, let’s use that as our motivation to encourage!
* Show genuine interest in people and what they are interested in.* Say “thank you” and mean it.* Tell some one they did a good job after they’ve completed some work (your mechanic, your student, your boss!)* Leave a just-because-I-love-you card for your spouse or child* Buy your favorite Southern California Tenthdot author a starbucks gift card! (just checking to see if you’re still reading!)* Serve without being asked.* Take dinner to a friend and just an enjoy a quiet conversation about the ‘good ol’ days’! |

Dear TD guys,
I am encouraged by the daily Bible study. It’s a great jump start for my day. I am sure there are a lot of us out here reading and growing each day from this ministry. God Bless.

I thank God for the two of you who post, Joe & Danny and anyone else behind the scenes that contributes time and effort to make tenth dot what it is. Although I am not as diligent about reading everyday as I would like to be, ever time I stop by the Lord reaches me. Thank you for your tireless efforts and love towards all of us children of the Lord. Danny, I have been blessed to know you for the years that I have and I am always encouraged when the Lord allows us to meet. Joe, although I have never met you, whether it is in this life or the next that I do, I am excited to someday fellowship with you as well!
I also want to encourage any and all readers of tenth dot today. Know that our Lord is coming to take home His children. You are well loved and of great value, not only to our Lord, but to each other! Don’t ever forget that you can be the difference in someones life EVERY day.
God bless and keep the faith!
Chris
