If you have never accepted this gift of God’s love, it is time.  Pray this with me: God, I have screwed up and I am sorry.  I am selfish and mean and I am sorry.  Lord, God, thank you that you love me despite these things.  Thank you that you have pursued me my entire life. Thank you that you were crucified in my place. I deserve to die, not YOU, not the Creator of everything. Father, help me to feel your arms around me right now and to know that I am forgiven and loved.  Help me to show this kind of love to those around me- the guy who cuts me off in the car, the kids who kick my seat at the movies, and the beggar who lies to me about why she needs money.  Help me Lord, to show the love that you have shown me even when it is inconvenient.
