It seems like as followers of Christ we have an identity crisis on our hands. We identify with so many things foreign to who we are in Christ. Some of our titles are: executives, directors, students, secretaries, officer, CEO, doctors and the list goes on and on. Yet, when we look at the Scriptures people referred to themselves as slaves, servants, children of God, friends of God, pastors, lambs, royal priesthood and many others that were not exactly about prestige and status. But words that we use define who we are remind us of whose we are. When we forget that we are first of children of God and not some hot shot, we are in danger of losing our true significance for a temporary title. As you watch this video ask God to remind you of who you truly are.
