Hebrews 11:2
This is what the ancients were commended for.
David and Abraham (and tons of others) were commended because they had faith. Their faith was the fuel that set them in motion. Faith is the only thing that is needed to experience the abundant life. Without faith it is impossible to please our God. So we learn to trust in Him everyday.
Here’s the question of the day:
How do we trust in a God we can’t see? Seriously, how?

How do we trust in a God we can’t see?
I believe it is simply looking at our blessings we truly can see God in our lives. I look back at all the times I have been struggling and even though I wish I did not have to go through some situations I see God put me through that tough time because he truly loves me. He cares more about me becoming the best possible version of myself rather than me thinking I have it all figured out. In the book of Ephesian 1:4-6 I get so much peace and truly see that God is real.
” Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son. ”
God did not just create me but he had a plan for me before I was born He knew exactly what struggles what good times and what blessings I am going to get and even the future is a scary part of life God has it under control.
Lastly, the best way to see that God is real is by being in word daily. We are not simply going to find God by walking down the street and God appears to us! (although that would be awesome) But it takes hard work and time to truly see God. Even when we think we see God we have only seen a fraction of what he can truly do. So like anything in this world it takes time and hard work! To truly see God we must make the effort to become his best friend and God will take care of the rest!
