Think of a place that is silent or at least a place where you can be still. Schedule an appointment right now to meet with God for at least 10 minutes. Tell Him where you are going to meet Him and ask Him to meet you there. Pray that the time you set aside to be with Him in silence will be fruitful. Enjoy your time alone with your God. You were made for Him. |
While watching this video my phone buzzed, and it was a text from a friend. I started responding when you started talking about life’s noise and realized God slapped me up side the head with an object lesson. Thanks for being used by Him to give this great thought for the day. I didn’t know how much I needed to start my day with a healthy dose of silence until then.

Thank you for letting God use you. I never thought of setting and appointment with God before. This will definitely help me when spending time with God.
Father God, please be with me and guide me. I have stumbled so much – even today, even in this last hour… Please forgive me Lord and help me back into your plan. Lord I want to meet with you, come and meet with me.
