Take some time to practice God’s will for your politics. Pray for your civil leaders. Intercede for them. Offer thanksgiving to God for them and pray for peace to come through them. Whether you voted for them or not you are outside of God’s will when you fail to pray for those who God has chosen to lead you and to lead me. Offer a word of prayer for your leaders right now — it’s what God desires for you and me to do. |

wow… this is not what I want to do, but now I am responsible for praying for my leaders because I know it’s God will. Lord, you know the leadership that concerns me greatly. I need to lift him up to you and pray that his heart would be turned towards yours. May you put people in his life to teach him your ways , Oh Lord.
May he begin to be concerned with the things that concern you- God. Lord, when I get frustrated with politics and the leadership, please help me turn my grumbling to prayers. I love you Lord.
