As we get ready to practice obedience that leads to fruitfulness in this series, would you ask God to reveal to you areas of your life where you lack obedience? Would you ask HIM to shine the light of HIS Word and Truth into your heart and help expose the areas of darkness that HE needs to renovate? If you will turn those areas of disobedience into obedience, you will start to see the production of God’s spiritual fruit in your life. Let’s become great harvesters together! |

Jesus help me to remain in You at all cost. LORD as I go through this series please speak into my life. After this morning, it is clear that I need to be more obedient in the areas of : patience and self-control. Lord, I am not asking for patience though… I selfishly don’t want the extra trials right now. Help me to be obedient in the situations that come up. Help me especially to be self-controlled in my anger. Help me to show my family love and joy, and not the “quick to become angry” person I can be. Spirit, please fill me up.

Lord Help me to to nail my flesh on that cross which you died on. Have your spirit be the only thing that lives in me, so that I may obey you. Lord I don’t want any sign of darkness in my heart, would you shine your light on any hidden areas where I am dark. Mold me into the woman of Christ you called me to be AMEN!

I think it’s a bad thing that as I read the two comparison verses, that I see more of the fruit of the flesh in my life than the fruit of the spirit. God, I need your help to change that.
