Don’t give up on someone who is slow in coming to Christ. Jesus’ own family rejected Him for 30+ years, yet when they finally understood and came to faith, they became critical components of the Gospel spread throughout the 1st Century world. Today, if someone in your life has been slow to grasp the meaning of the Gospel, do this:

1. Pray. Pray for God to give you patience AND persistence. Pray that you will find opportunities to share the Gospel and it’s impact and power in your life. Pray that you will live it out as an example to them.

2. Pray. Pray for your friend/family member/co-worker to have the scales of unbelief removed from their eyes so they can see and believe in the life-saving power of the Gospel.

3. Pray. Pray for God to give you the opportunity to love unconditionally, and with purpose. Pray that He will help you love for the long haul and not give up to discouragement, fear, worry or anxiety.

Name that person or those people today. Pray for them, right now! And whatever you do, don’t give up!
