Eternal life has everything to do with our relationship with God. It is not something that we receive when we die. Or some fairytale land. No it is our relationship with God—Father, Son and Spirit. So check this out: the more you know the one true God—the more you will experience the eternal-everlasting-heavenly things here on earth. Remember this is how Jesus taught us to pray:

Our Father who art in heaven,

hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread,

and forgive us our trespasses,

as we forgive those who trespass against us,

and lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

Matthew 6:9-13
