PRAYERS OR COMMENTS:
As I read these verses I am reminded that so much of the fear, doubt, anxiety that I experience has to do with my positioning in faith. When I walk away from the wisdom of God and lean on my own understanding things get so much more “risky” and uncertain. But when I submit my life (plans, goals, needs, relationships, etc) to the Lord I can trust that all things WILL work for the good. When I am investing in my relationship with Jesus, much like a marriage, it is then that the intimacy, trust, security start growing.
Jesus, I love you. I am so very thankful that you loved me and pursued me even though I had no interest in you. I pray that your bride will be able to do as Mary did and understand that our place is at your feet, adoring you, gazing at you rather than running around wondering if we are doing the right thing or not and wondering why everyone else is running around as frantic as us. Glory to your name. Amen
