It’s time we got angry about sin. First, we have to see our own sin for it is. We have to get amped up about our own failures and the times we fall short of God’s holy standard. Second, we have to create a passion for solving the problem’s of sin and not just become experts at spotting it. In other words, when you see your friend struggling with pornography, it’s not enough to burn hot at his addiction — you’ve got to help him find victory (www.xxxchurch.com), give him accountability and help him develop a healthy hate for the act of viewing and responding to porn. When we catch our friend gossiping about the latest office or school romance breakup, we’ve got to hate gossip like God does and help them develop healthy speech habits. We have to burn white hot at sin, love the sinner (as God does with you and me — remember the first step!) and be a part of the solution.
