The point is clear: We have to keep our minds focused on the eternal goals of building in God’s kingdom. Sometimes I think we need to intentionally sacrifice in order to keep ourselves in that right place. After all, we might be selling everything we own, but the field that God is going to give us has a treasure that’s worth a few garage sales.
