Today, thank God for His amazing Christmas plan that has been ongoing for thousands and thousands of years. Remember the story of Christmas is rooted in man’s need — not God’s — a need that only God could meet. Because of that great need, God gave us the greatest gift ever, His one and only Son. Thank God for His enduring plan. Thank God for His limitless love. Thank God for His relentless pursuit of you and me. Thank God for the incredible story of Christmas, and how the theme of redemption carries throughout the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. Thank God today. |
I sometimes forget that we are God’s greatest creation. Considering the sheer magnitude of the universe and the majesty of all of creation I sometimes loose track that God loves us in such an INTIMATE and SPECIFIC way. When considering myself compared to even just the city I live in I feel so dwarfed; yet all of creation, which is for His glory, is dwarfed by us. We are the ones created in such a way to actively and relationally glorify Him.
Praise God for all of His beautiful, majestic, unfathomable creation! And praise Him for His merciful sacrifice for our salvation. I know how much Jesus means to me… I still can’t get over how much I mean to Him… this lowly person that He says is “more valuable than a whole flock of sparrows”…
Thank you Lord for always reminding me that I can never grasp the FULL magnitude of all you are! Thank you that there is ALWAYS more of you! Thank you for overwhelming me with Your love!

Oh God, it is so foolish to ever think that any circumstance, any need, and problem is outside of your contol – is beyond your capabilities. Especially considering the majestic galaxy that we see, which scientists are still loooking beyond what we see to discover even more of your glory, only required the mere speaking of a word from your lips. What could possibly hinder you from bringing us from our broken state into complete wholeness. Nothing! Glory To God! it brings me to tears to think that you would consider me worthy of such attention. And not only that you are just okay with not wiping off the face of the earth, but your love and tenderness and glory would be revealed in and through me. AM I CRAZY OR IS THIS THE MOST INCREDIBLE CONCEPT IN THE WORLD – NO, THE UNIVERSE! Thank you Jesus for making this possible through your sacrifice. Glory to you Holy Spirit for revealing the bits and pieces that our minds and bodies can comprehend concerning our eternal destinies. Heavely Father, how we long to meet face to face with our Heavenly Daddy, who put everything on the line for the sake of an adulterous, doubting, fickle people. Your love overwhelms us. Amen.
