Before the King comes back, we better make sure we are ready to see Him.  There won’t be much warning and I for one want to be found ready, not sleeping or slouching my way through this life when He comes to take me home.

How about you?  Is there an area of your life that the King needs to rule now before He comes back?  All of us fall short, but maybe there are some particular things in your life that God wants to take over, that He wants you to give to Him…will you do that today?  Will you remember that the sweet little babe in the manger is the roaring lion who will come again as King and Ruler?  Will you let this remind you that you were bought at a price and that you should honor God with your lives?

4,000 years ago God made a promise through Jacob, assuring us of Christmas and of a perfect King who is coming.  Are you ready?  I hope Christmas stirs you and me to readiness for our King!

God, i want to be ready- but I keep holding back different areas of my life. Once again, i hand over the finances to you. You have got us through every tough time and I know you will continue to take care of us. Please provide for us, once again, and help me to not worry about it. You have shown me so many times, that you will provide- you always do. Thank you in advance, for the work you are doing. I love you Lord! I am so excited for your 2nd coming!

“I can’t wait for that day. I can’t wait to see my Savior coming through the clouds to take me home to be with Him. He is the King. He will rule the world. He is coming back.”

How much I long for that day. I lay myself down before the Lord as often as possible. I know I still fall short of the life He would have for me. I strive for Him so often and then have moments where it was if I knew not of Him.

Father God, please help me to remember you as my Abba. Help me to lay my ENTIRE life at your feet. I love you Lord, please help me to love you more!

“So come home running, His arms are open wide! His name is Jesus, He understands! He is the answer, that you’ve been looking for, so come home running… just as… you are!”

Thank you Lord, for loving me more than I can understand.

    AMEN!
