At first, I felt really ashamed as I read this verse. There is definitely a lot of good I know I should do, but don’t do. Then I realized there is something I can do to change this, so that I do not sin as much in this area. I can even start today.
Let’s make a list of the things Jesus told us we ought to do. Right now, write down just a few. We ought to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, visit those in prison… just to name a few.

Danny, thank you for your willingness to be God’s mouthpiece! I have been yearning to be more Christlike and this list helps me to better understand what that includes.
Father God, please help me to better fulfill what you want of me. I submit myself to your authority and sovereignty and as that you please help me to remain obedient to your call. I love you Lord, and thank you so much for the blessings you have poured out on my family.
