2. Excellence. Excellence should be the heart beat of everything we do. Our work, our family, our life—everything done in excellence point back to our love for God.

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

3. Joy. Joy should mark our lives.

Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

4. God has given us His very Spirit to dwell in us. Fear not. The LORD is with you.

Judges 6:12

When the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon, he said, “The LORD is with you, mighty warrior.” 

5. Hunger and thirst are constant reminders of our need for God to supply everything for us. God is more than enough for everything you are going through today. How’s your hunger and thirst for Him? 

Psalm 42:1

As the deer pants for streams of water, 

     so my soul pants for you, my God.
