LORD what does it mean for me to spur others on? Teach me to put this into practice.

Lord help us to stay tuned into you instead of our technology. And let what we receive from meeting with you flow into the lives of the others around us. Help us to connect, to Love, to honour, to serve others but always from the overflow that you pour into us. Help us to be cautious of virtual community and give us passion to build our actual community.

This reminds me of John 1. The Word put on flesh and dwelt among us. God did not stay distant, but came to us. Lord, may I do as you did and come into the space of others to show them Your love and Grace. Use my flesh Lord. Teach me how to meet people where they are at and listen to them, and then encourage with the words that You alone give me!
