Dear God, As I stood outside with my family early this a.m. trying to find meteor showers, Jesus was surrounding us with His love. All of creation is groaning to be made new, even us. Thank you Jesus for being a God full of awesome power and might and gentleness and kindness, thank you Jesus for loving me and my family, help us to love you more today. Thank you for people like Danny who are dedicated to reminding us about you. Amen

I so easily forget your awesomeness in the midst of the every day distractions. Praise you, Almighty, that you are beyond my comprehension.
2 Chronicles 7:1-3, At the Dedication of Solomon’s Temple – “…fire came down from heaven… and the glory of the Lord filled the temple. The priests could not enter the temple of the Lord because the glory of the Lord filled it…. they knelt on the pavement with their faces to the ground, and they worshiped and gave thanks to the Lord, Saying, ‘He is good, his love endures forever.’ ”

God you are eternal. Just by reading of how you called everything into creation and set time into existence. I cannot imagine life without time, yet you existed before and will exist after time. You are all powerful, all knowing, and bigger than anything small problem I ever have. Thank you that you are the mighty “I AM!”
