Here comes the kicker- "Are you not much more valuable than they?"

The obvious answer is "yes." Yet the reason we worry is that we don’t believe this is true. We do not understand the depth of Jesus teaching. We do not see how valuable we are. We look in the mirror and we do not see what Jesus sees, so believe the lie that we are not that valuable. We do not understand how drastic the "MUCH MORE" Jesus is talking about. If we understood how much God valuable we are to God (Father, Son and Spirit) we would never, ever worry. So when Satan attacks us he simply needs to remind us of the lie we already believe that we are worthless. As soon as we buy into this lie, we begin to worry about meaningless stuff. We buy things to show our value instead of trusting in our Heavenly Father to show us our value. 

Consider this for a moment- The Creator, the Author of Life, the Majestic One stepped out of Heaven and all of it’s comfort to come rescue us. The One who created the Grand Canyon, the moon, zillions of stars, billions of galaxies, Niagara Falls, Mt. Everest, every sunset and the list goes on forever- This is the God who valued you so much that He was willing to give the life of His only Son to redeem you. It would be impossible to reveal the value of the gift He has given us-this gift is priceless. So in light of this Jesus comes to us right now and says, "Do not worry." He will take care of us. He will provide for us. He      will . . . (to be continued)
