John 15:7If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
Jesus is concerned about the place His words have in your life. Do His words shape you, move you, and capture your heart? Do they motivate you? Compel you? His words have the power to transform us. Seriously. In the same way that a caterpillar is transformed into something radically different, God wants to transform you. He wants to make you into someone who asks and recieves because you have spent so much time with Him, and you listen to Him. It is because His words remain in you that you know what to ask for, and it is simply granted to you.

Oh God transform us. God we are calling out to you today. We are desperate for You and Your words to shape and mold us. Holy Spirit please move in our hearts. Speak into our lives. The waves are tossing us but we know that you have calmed greater storms. The world is revealing its bitterness but we are fixated on your glory. We will not give up. We will press on to remain with you. We will repeat Your words in the depth of our soul for they bring us life. Jesus please come and be with us now. Please transform us. We love you Lord with everything in us. You are our heart. You are our passion. You are the center of everything we do. Teach us never to allow our focus to shift from you. You are beyond compare.
