Lord,
Thank you for this.
It is so easy for my focus to shift away from you these days. While I might be in a phase of life unlike anything I have ever experienced, and while it may even be my God given responsibility to attend to the priorities you have entrusted to me, mainly, my daughter, I ought not ever let that cause me to lose sight of that which I cannot see… you and the eternal. As I care for Charity today, may my focus be heavenword… verticle, not horizontal. Show me where I need to shift my focus. Point out the areas to me today that I am caught up too much in the woes of today rather than focus on the Giver of today and what he has coming.
