If we know clearly that we are not doing something that He commands us to do and we justify it financially, morally, or biblically. You must question your true belief. Only he or she who believes obeys and only he who obeys believes, they go hand in hand.
Our Lord talked about discipleship, he always prefaced it with an “IF,” never with an emphatic “You Must.” Discipleship carries an option with it.Our devotion is not to a Cause or a church or any other thing that Jesus started but it is to Him. It is not based on belief but on following, knowing and loving God (Father, Son and Spirit). Matthew 16

Lord- I don’t want to forfeit my soul- help me to not seek to gain the world, help me to become a true disciple. Create in me, a fire to be discipled. Help me to not look left or right, but just follow after you. What would you do, Lord? Let me follow and be your disciple.

Amen… “a fire to be discipled!”
Lord show me your way through the ’cause’ and the ‘schedule’ and the ‘job’ of life! Help me to know you, to love you and to hear you SO clearly! Help me to ever be your disciple.
