If we know clearly that we are not doing something that He commands us to do and we justify it financially, morally, or biblically.  You must question your true belief. Only he or she who believes obeys and only he who obeys believes, they go hand in hand.

Oswald Chambers says this,

Our Lord talked about discipleship, he always prefaced it with an “IF,” never with an emphatic “You Must.” Discipleship carries an option with it.

Our devotion is not to a Cause or a church or any other thing that Jesus started but it is to Him. It is not based on belief but on following, knowing and loving God (Father, Son and Spirit).

Matthew 16
24Then Jesus said to his disciples, "If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 25For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. 26What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?

Lord- I don’t want to forfeit my soul- help me to not seek to gain the world, help me to become a true disciple. Create in me, a fire to be discipled. Help me to not look left or right, but just follow after you. What would you do, Lord? Let me follow and be your disciple.

Amen… “a fire to be discipled!”
Lord show me your way through the ’cause’ and the ‘schedule’ and the ‘job’ of life! Help me to know you, to love you and to hear you SO clearly! Help me to ever be your disciple.
