Jesus not only defines Himself, He defines who we are when we give our lives over to Him. Tomorrow, we will look at how God defines each of us, but today, make it your prayer that God will reveal His design for your life. |

It’s hard for me to say which one I resonate with the most. It seems like I need different images of God at different times in my life. Right now, I need Him to guide me so I need Him as the Good Shepherd.

i am not, but i know I AM
This is harder than it appears.
I am lots of things,
I am blessed,
I am forgiven,
but—-Who am I as a man?
I haven’t thought about it as much as I should.
Thank you Jesus for paying the price.

You are the Light of the world, please light my path that I might know which way to go. You the Bread of Life, please sustain my life, my family, and the ministry you have put me in charge of. You are the Good Shepherd, please guide me through the difficulties in life. Remind me that nothing that is going to happen today is outside of Your control. When trials come help me to respond with Your love, Your grace, Your way not mine. Please Teach me love my enemies, to bless those who persecute me and to follow You daily. I love You my Lord and Savior forever.

Father God, I am on my knees at your feet. My life is not my own, help me to remember this an dlet go of the things that I have no control over. Lord, I know that you have very capable hands, and I pray that you would help me not to forget this as I forget to hand everything over to you. When I do hand it to you, help me not to tak eit back. Lord, things weigh heavy on my heart, and I pray that you will lift these burdens and help me to concentrate on you and what you are to make me into. Mold me Lord, make me yours. I love you God.

Each persona rings so true for me right now, as I do an inventory on my life, it shows me so clearly that I need and identify with all of Gods images. If He had not written down for me each one to see and be comforted with, I would be incomplete and still searching for unhealthy “fixes” to fill the voids of my humanity. But I have a God who knows me so completely, He knows that at this very moment I need Him as my Bread of Life but only hours ago He was so present as the Way and the Truth and my Life, but for me to be humbled to that place, my Father the Gardener need to prune away the thorns of my life.

I am set FREE…
I am in His control…
I am reconciled…
I am healed…
I am lifted up…
I am a NEW creation…
I am never alone…
I am trusting in God’s plan for my life…
I am at peace…
I am hopeful…
I am able to do everything God asks me to do with the help of Christ who gives me the strength and the power…
I am sure that God who began the good work within me will keep right on helping me grow in His grace until his task within me is finally finished on that day when Jesus my Christ returns…

Help me to understand these I am statements more and more everyday. Help me to understand a pursue them from the moment I wake up to the moment I go to sleep. Help me to let others know the I am’s you have given us.

Thank you Lord that you didn’t just die so that I can be set free from eternal bondage, but to live and love you for all eternity. I thank you that you’ve given me such friends that understand and respect my walk with you and some will join the journey though some won’t. I want to pray for those who wont or they think that their past is too much for anyone to get through. Lorad I pray that you would open their hearts and eyes, so that they may know that you are ENOUGH and BIG to take what they hold still that keeps them from you. Its in your holy and magnificent name I pray Amen.

Lord please reveal what plans you have for my life. I have so many talents and want to out them to good use to reach out the lost generation. Let it be your will and only your will to be done in and through my life for the remander of my life. I cannot ever thank you enugh for making me a new creation, help me to continue to grow in mt walk with you Amen.
