1. Memorize 1 John 4:19 "We love because he first loved us." Now go tattoo that on your soul.

2. Pray for 1 minute at the top of each hour.

3. Write someone a note of encouragement. Actually write it (stop texting for a minute).

4. Kiss your spouse for 1 minute (set a timer!).

5. Take off your shoes and socks. Raise your hands and remember this:

Exodus 17:10-12

So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. 11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. 12 When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset.

6. Text ten people and tell them you love them.

7. Call someone who needs to know about God’s love. Remind them of God’s great love.

8. Read your favorite Psalm. If you have a favorite Psalm share it below. If you don’t have one look below!

9. Forgive someone. If you do this it will change the course of your life.

10. Tell someone a secret that is hindering your relationship with God and loved ones.

    My favorite Psalm is 139. But I love Psalm 1, 5, and 62.

    My favorite Psalm is 23 and 31, they both remind me of God’s unfailing love and protection.

    Did a twist on #6 and let some people know that Jesus loves them. They all said they were very grateful. And my favorite Psalms are Psalms 7 and 19. For they show that we can take shelter in God, and that God is so amazing and eternally perfect. After all, who else can make the skies so beautiful?

    Psalm 95
    1 Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD;
    let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation.
    2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving
    and extol him with music and song.
    3 For the LORD is the great God,
    the great King above all gods.
    4 In his hand are the depths of the earth,
    and the mountain peaks belong to him.
    5 The sea is his, for he made it,
    and his hands formed the dry land.

    6 Come, let us bow down in worship,
    let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
    7 for he is our God
    and we are the people of his pasture,
    the flock under his care.

    Today, if only you would hear his voice,
    8 “Do not harden your hearts as you did at Meribah,[a]
    as you did that day at Massah[b] in the wilderness,
    9 where your ancestors tested me;
    they tried me, though they had seen what I did.
    10 For forty years I was angry with that generation;
    I said, ‘They are a people whose hearts go astray,
    and they have not known my ways.’
    11 So I declared on oath in my anger,
    ‘They shall never enter my rest.’”

    Got done with #3 (great time to encourage some one I had been thinking about) & #8 (Psalm 78:1-8 speaking about sharing God’s greatness with the next generation!). Working on #4 (when I get off work at 3:30, ooh la la), and #6 — it’s amazing what giving one minute of your time to allow God to work through you can do. Thanks Danny for the reminder.

    Psalm 139

    For the director of music. Of David. A psalm.
    1 You have searched me, LORD,
    and you know me.
    2 You know when I sit and when I rise;
    you perceive my thoughts from afar.
    3 You discern my going out and my lying down;
    you are familiar with all my ways.
    4 Before a word is on my tongue
    you, LORD, know it completely.
    5 You hem me in behind and before,
    and you lay your hand upon me.
    6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    7 Where can I go from your Spirit?
    Where can I flee from your presence?
    8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
    if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
    9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
    if I settle on the far side of the sea,
    10 even there your hand will guide me,
    your right hand will hold me fast.
    11 If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
    and the light become night around me,”
    12 even the darkness will not be dark to you;
    the night will shine like the day,
    for darkness is as light to you.

    13 For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
    14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.
    15 My frame was not hidden from you
    when I was made in the secret place,
    when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
    16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
    all the days ordained for me were written in your book
    before one of them came to be.
    17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
    How vast is the sum of them!
    18 Were I to count them,
    they would outnumber the grains of sand—
    when I awake, I am still with you.

    19 If only you, God, would slay the wicked!
    Away from me, you who are bloodthirsty!
    20 They speak of you with evil intent;
    your adversaries misuse your name.
    21 Do I not hate those who hate you, LORD,
    and abhor those who are in rebellion against you?
    22 I have nothing but hatred for them;
    I count them my enemies.
    23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
    24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting.
