The point is this: If you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, then you are gifted to be a grace dispenser. Not only are you gifted, but you are commanded to use your gifts so that others may receive the benefit of the work God has done in your life. Take a moment to look over the following list of grace-dispensers found in Romans 16. Notice how each of these individuals used their gifts to be a blessing to Paul and his ministry:
Priscilla: Risked her life with Paul for the GospelAquila: Risked his life with Paul for the GospelMary: Worked hard for the churches in RomeAndronicus: Went to prison with PaulJunias: Went to prison with PaulAmpliatus: Someone who had a special relationship with PaulUrbanus: A fellow worker with PaulStachys: Paul’s dear friendApelles: A worker who was tested and approvedTryphena: A woman who worked hard in the LordTryphosa: A woman who worked hard in the LordPersis: A woman who worked very hard for the LordRufus’ mother: A woman who was like a mother to PaulTertius: Wrote the letter of Romans for PaulGaius: Used his gift of hospitality to bless PaulErastus: Used his position as a city official to bless Paul
