The point is this: If you know Jesus Christ as your Savior, then you are gifted to be a grace dispenser. Not only are you gifted, but you are commanded to use your gifts so that others may receive the benefit of the work God has done in your life. Take a moment to look over the following list of grace-dispensers found in Romans 16. Notice how each of these individuals used their gifts to be a blessing to Paul and his ministry:

Priscilla: Risked her life with Paul for the Gospel

Aquila: Risked his life with Paul for the Gospel

Mary: Worked hard for the churches in Rome

Andronicus: Went to prison with Paul

Junias: Went to prison with Paul

Ampliatus: Someone who had a special relationship with Paul

Urbanus: A fellow worker with Paul

Stachys: Paul’s dear friend

Apelles: A worker who was tested and approved

Tryphena: A woman who worked hard in the Lord

Tryphosa: A woman who worked hard in the Lord

Persis: A woman who worked very hard for the Lord

Rufus’ mother: A woman who was like a mother to Paul

Tertius: Wrote the letter of Romans for Paul

Gaius: Used his gift of hospitality to bless Paul

Erastus: Used his position as a city official to bless Paul

15 different people, each using their unique gifting to dispense God’s grace in its various forms. How how God gift you? How will you be used to dispense His grace today?
